Hey Hoss that looks like a great do it all knife! very solid you could gut,chop small wood,defend your self or what ever and look cool all at the same time.
It looks like it should have a trigger I like it.

I broke down last year and bought some hand candy after looking at higher end knifes for many moons this suited me for deer hunting very nicely.

The Axiom scope is a fixed speed scope no need to worry about speed settings,
Cross hairs should be sighted in at 20 yards and the chevron below it is 30 yards the next chevron is 40 yards.
Fire bolts weight 266 gr with out a broadhead.

Recurve bows are more dependable, generally lighter in weight, and are easy to work on compared to a compound ,however recurves tend to be wider width across the limb span.

I took 2 bucks with them last year and had short recovery's on both less than 80 yards on both good blood on the first deer not so much on the second not the Broad heads fault just the angle of shots the broad head did what it was supposed to cut a nasty 4 blade hole through every thing . They shoot...

I hunt with this exact set up with aluminum inserts and a standard Excalibur string. Congratulations on your new bow you will love the simplicity of the re curve bow and being able to maintain it your self. Congratulations on your great choice but I feel I should warn you that Euqinox will cause brain damage!!!! :wink:
After I got mine about all my brain could think about was the crossbow and the up coming season .
