Re: Adjustable cheekpiece for Micros / CTS style stocks
Just an observation but i think you should drill the top of the slot for the posts on the backside of the OEM cheekpiece to fit into. Just like they fit into the holes in the stock.

Re: Broadhead Suggestions
I recently changed to BEZS w/ 110 gr insert and lumanocks w/ right helical blazers. They shoot 1/2" lower than stock.
The BEZS shoot my VPA broadheads the same as field points.
I am using 100 grain VPA 3-Blade Vented 1 1/8″ Diameter Broadheads.
VPA offers broadheads from 85 gr up to 300 gr.

Re: Fixed-Blade Broadheads Fit In Quiver?
I'm trying VPA 3-Blade Broadheads 100 grain Vented 1 1/8″ Diameter.
They are available from 85 grains to 300 grains.
They fly just like field points. They are almost like a G5 Montec, only they are CNC machined from solid billet carbon steel not cast like the G5's are.

Re: Favorite target
I use a Delta McKenzie Speedbag 20/20 for field tips.
For broadheads get as many cardboard boxes as you can find flatten them, stack them and then band them (or ratchet strap them).
Works great stopping them and if one gets stuck just take the target apart. It's like a poor man's block target.

If you want the ultimate guided knife sharpener check out tsprof.com , I recently came across them in a youtube video (A Box From Russia Changed My Life). Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Re: Serving Wax and Accuracy
Update. I had some cheap 16 inch, made-in-China 2219 aluminum shafts in pink from Princess auto (Canadian store) plastic nock and insert, 100 grain field point, 4 inch veins. The total arrow weight is 394 grain.....HOLY CRAP 3 shots at 20 yards, all holes touching. Major improvement over the 350 gr...

The problem is your weight. Stock Quills + 100 gr tip = low FOC weight.
Try using 150 gr tips.

Thanks again for helping out.
The arrows came out great.
Now its time to try and get some blood on them.
