You can verify if the string is hitting the riser by putting some lipstick on the riser then fire the bow and check for lipstick on the string.

I am impressed that you neck shoot Deer with your .44 you must be pretty comfortable with it.

I second the WD40 it will take the adhesive from price tags off of things I now that
