Re: Cutting your carbon arrow

A pipe cutter won't work to cut carbon arrows. They will splinter if you try it.
A Dremel with a cut-off wheel will work, but you will need to square the end after.

Re: Widow Maker 350SE

I already have the Nikon Bolt on my Grizzly, but was mostly wondering how it would be on a faster bow like the 350SE I just bought. Nikon's Spot On shows that the aim points will be 20 - 30 and 45 for the first 3...

Re: Widow Maker 350SE

How does the Nikon Bolt work out on the 350SE? I just picked up a 350 and was thinking of this exact setup. Nikon's spot on shows the dots as 20, 30, 45...

Does this make a good match?

Re: How important is it to index broadheads?

Aligning broadheads and vanes does not have any effect on planing. The broadhead doesn't actually cut through the air in the same spot as the vanes due to spinning around its axis. Just like the whole reason taller vanes work well is due to them getting above the layer of boundary air and out of the...

Re: Slick Tricks shooting wild

Basically the answer is YES. Since the blades of a broadhead act as airfoils, if there is any wobble at all it will affect accuracy. Do a quick search and you'll find tons of information on how to make a setup to spin your arrows and broadheads to confirm they are aligned. It only takes a few minute...

Warranty turn around

I'll start by saying I realize it's a busy time of year and everyone wants to get back hunting! What is the usual turn around time for items sent in for warranty work?

Re: SK -200 Flex-Fletch

With any flexletch vanes you need to properly clean the base of the vane before gluing. I use SK300's and don't see me changing any time soon.
