Re: Turkey callin'
Thanks guys, very helpful. Never hunted turkey before, but my buddy has bugged me enough to go that I finally gave in. Can't wait to show up and be able to call better than him. Thanks again for the input.

Re: Questions re: Strings and Arrows
Very good, jackleg! Well, is that a problem when you're using a foam style target meant for crossbows (both broadheads and points?), don't the holes fill back in fairly well? I don't think you could very easily shoot the same hole twice on that style target. What do most people use? Thank you! It's...

Re: Questions re: Strings and Arrows
When you say not to ever shoot the same dot twice in a row, how do you avoid that?
Same dot on the target. You will destroy your arrows.
I know LOL

sts system
Hello gang! Quick question, where can I buy the sts system for my equinox?
I live in Ontario so I'd rather buy in Canada... No offence to our American friends.
Rather not mess with duty and all the red tape.
Thanks

Re: new toy
Congrats!! But why do you not like the rope cocking aid? I use it all the time, even though I can cock my bow by hand. Just preference?

North Bay deer
Haven't figured out how to P/M yet. So this one is for warningshot and peach. How's the deer hunting around the Bay area? I heard it was getting better than years ago?

270 WSW. Browning A bolt stainless steel. Best gun I've ever owned. Shot moose, bear and deer with it. Shoots super flat.

Re: RED DOT SCOPE
Check out bushnell holosight. Not sure if they still make it but I used it once on a friends handgun. Really liked it, but was costly then.

pulled out nocks
I bought a excalibur arrow puller. Works great but I pulled out two of my nocks. Can I re-glue them? If so, what kind of glue should I get.
A quick question. Can water get into your arrows via the nock?

Warning label!!!
Excalibur should have a warning label attached to their crossbows. It should read "Do not shoot at the same target twice" I was sighting mine in today at 20 yards, all was going well while I was messing with the settings on the scope. The second shot I took without moving windage or ...

Newby question
First off, thanks to everyone who answered Carbon aluminum question posted last week. Lots of good advice, but seems like it all boils down to preference. :) Well here is a more straight forward question. Can I hunt and kill moose, bear and deer with my new purchase. (Equinox with right stuff...

Carbon or aluminum?
I'm new at the whole crossbow thing. I just bought a brand new Equinox and was wondering if I can use the bolts that come with the right stuff package to hunt moose. Is speed better for penetration or is energy? Should I buy heavier aluminum? Just want feedback. Thanks. Regards.
