Re: NEED HELP NEW IBEX
If you think it is loud compared to a compound, what about us guys who used to shoot recurves and longbows? As for me, I do nothing to the bow; not even string silencers as they are not necessary. Just shoot. The noise may bother you but not the deer.

Re: Whats wrong with this buck
Sorry I don't have the explanation right now but I've seen it in pictures several times. It seems to me that there was once a good article in North American Whitetail that explained it. I'm sure it would not be comfortable.

Re: Real bad day last Thursday
I'm surprised you had to send the bow. I had to change the limbs on my crossbow once and I called Peter. In two days they were at my place via UPS. I changed the limbs and sent the old limbs back to Danny. Two days to take care of a little problem! Not bad at all.

Re: Why is Excalibur #1 ?
I too have had an experience or two with Excalibur and their service. The first was when I purchased the bow and things were missing as the dealer didn't know anything about the bow. Excalibur made things right in short order. Then came a stupid act on my part just before deer season one year. I nee...

Re: Wildgame Innovations Trail Cam?
Thanks Ray. This trail cam is actually one my neighbor bought at Dick's and he wanted to know if it was any good before he opened the box. They told him he could return it if it had been unopened. The only thing I've found so far is that it might be slow trigger time and maybe not the best pictures....

Wildgame Innovations Trail Cam?
Has anyone tried the IR camera that takes 5.0 meg pixel pictures?
So far I've found little info except that they have slow trigger times and some say poor picture quality.

Re: Blinds in wind
Has anyone tried sandbags? In our ground (yellow sand) stakes don't do much so sandbags work quite well. When using stakes you could even simply lay one in each corner inside the tent to assist with the holddown.

Re: Hunting blind for wife
Hey, we have considered a gillie suit. I've thought about one for several years, but I'm not sure I could convince her to use one.
Hopefully we'll be out looking around for something yet this week.

Re: I'm home and doing well
Thought we've never met Ray, I feel that I know you and Tyler and you are fine folks indeed. The rehab might be a struggle but you'll make it. Good luck hunting this fall with Tyler too and pass along my thanks for keeping us posted.
