Southern Attack Smackdown!
I had a great 3 day weekend of hunting the "primitive weapon" week at a public WMA. My "trusty" (more on this in a bit) H&R Ultra .444 Marlin Handi rifle qualifies since it was designed before 1900 and uses a larger than .38 cartridge. #1 1/9 I was hunting in some flooded tim...

I woke up this morning and it was raining white fluffy frozen grits. What the heck is this stuff? There is almost 4" of it on the ground. I would go check it out, but it is just too cold outside at 31 degrees.

Warning about the CrazyFarmer CowWacker Bolts...
They must be sighted in one at a time. On my first group of three at 20 yards, I hit the rear insert of the first arrow with the two following arrows. If you are not careful, you could quickly ruin one or more of them. I never had that problem with my Firebolts... :D Seriously, these things rock. Wi...

Scope Review
Not knowing exactly what I would want with my first crossbow, I purchased my ExoMax bare. I then added some firebolts, cocking aid, and Rage broadheads. I later added a groundpounder mount, STS, stringing aid, FFF string and cheap quiver. I was content using the stock sight. 2" high at 20, dead...

Thanks everyone. The pressure is now off. I can use the 45-70 during the primitive firearms season here in Louisiana as well. It was purchased in black synthetic. I added the camo laminate thumbhole stock, and the matching forearm should be in on Monday. It has a Burris 4X20 mounted in Burris Zee lo...

Southern Attack Score!
This old gal was sneaking around and appeared out of nowhere about 60 yards out. The H&R 45/70 laid her down in her tracks. This is my first deer of the season, and killed on a small plot of 80 acres. I was hunting over a 100 yard rye grass food plot, so I left the Exomax at home. http://farm4.s...

Well, since no one else seems to want them, I'll take 'em!TNXBow wrote:I have a pack of Rage 2 Blade broadhead if you want them.
That is one awesome buck. Your persistence is a good example of ethics for others.
