NO!! The theifs stole the superbowl

. First the seahawks had a valid touchdown taken away then the theifs QB got a touchdown that really never happend. What a sad way to win a superbowl!!

That's the consensus from everyone I know. The Ref's determined the winner this year. Pretty Sad.

OK first of all, I am a die hard Browns fan and hate the fact that the steelers won, but the refs did not determine the winner. If you asked any member of the Seahawks, I'm certain they don't blame the refs. I don't want to start a big confrontation, but it is ignorant fans who don't understand the game (but think they do) and run their mouths that ruin sports. If you don't understand the game and how to win, shut your excuse making mouths.

I have to agree with Tigerpaw. The ref's cost them 11 pts plus all the momentum that goes along with them.

Kenton, I would hate to see what you would post if you were looking for a confrontation.
I guess I'm an ignorant fan who thinks he know's the game but doesn't so I think maybe I'll shut my excuse making mouth. I wouldn't want to ruin sports or anything.

Well, I didn't watch the game. I don't care who won.

I lost a great deal of interest in professional sports when the WHA Winnipeg Jets were picked clean of their better players as they joined the NHL. When the Jets left Winnipeg and went to the US I stopped watching all pro sports.

It makes no difference which sport or the location. All Pro players are overpaid, pampered, and undeserving.

Anyway, it's hardly worth quarreling over on a crossbow forum.

Well u guys can scratch your eyes out about this one, i am one of those ignorant fans that don't understand the sport of football!

So i have no comment on the game..... I'm just looking forward to April for when the playoffs (NHL) start. I know Partkile isn't looking forward to that beacuse as it stands now the leafs would play the sens.... and we all know what that means

Sports, at least the PRO variety, are contradictory of the reason they were started. Sport, by one definition is : A physical and mentally competitive activity carried out with a recreational purpose for competition, for self-enjoyment, to attain excellence, for the development of a skill, or some combination of these. A sport has physical activity, side by side competition, self-motivation and a scoring system. The difference of purpose is what characterises sport, combined with the notion of individual (or team) skill or prowess.

The "pro sports" as we know them today are not sports, but rather businesses.

So I don't know about you guys, but I see no reason to fret over someone's "business". No matter who wins or loses, it's no skin off my teeth, or food on/off my table.

Who won or lost is not the big deal. (I like the Red Skins myself) But attacks like the one from the all-knowing Mr Kenton are uncalled for

. ie. my response. Sometimes people let lose on the web with stuff that they would never say to a persons face for fear of the reprocutions.
