Many folks do make a necklace with the spurs. With only two turkey to my name I'd be hard pressed to make a decent necklace. But I save the spurs nonetheless.

Thanks guys, it was an exciting hunt and it wouldn’t have happened with out my dad with that expert calling job. Again thanks and good luck to those of you who are trying for theirs.

congratulations!!! nice turkey too! i took my 14 year old daughter one saturday this year and we saw a lot of turkeys either just out of range or aproached from wrong direction. anyway she /we had a really good time together!

I kinda thought you could make a nice necklace out of them. Keep at her Chris they'll add up.

Congrats on the fine Gobbler, them spurs are nice. Its been a long time since I shot a pink spurred bird, they seem to be few and far between.
