Best Practice Target for an EXOMax

Post by Sensfan »

Hi ALL,

Just bought my EXOMax and need to get a target for it. Now I have been calling around and nobody will sell a practice target that will stop the EXOMax. I don't need a 3D Target, just a block style that I can bring back and forth to the cottage.

BassPro sells a couple of styles but which one is best at stopping these carbon bolts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I use a feed bag stuffed with plastic bags and it stops my max no problemo.

The rhinehart is suppose to be a very good one. I know there 3d targets are the best of any that I have shot. the arrows also pull easily from this foam formulation

For field point Carbon bolts from the Exmax, I use The "Yellow Hammer" bag target. The bolts will not pass through at twenty yds. or even come near the fletch.

Ive heard a ton of good things about the Rinehart 3-d targets. I have the morrel yellowjacket bag target, and it works like a dream! I dont think you could buy a better bag target! It stops my exocet 200 bolts with no problem! But its only for field points! I need to get me a good 3-d target for broadheads, been thinkin about a Rhinehart, but they r just way too pricey!!!
