Thank You for all the replies on my new Exomax. It is a beast for sure. My question is that when I shoot the Easton XX75 2219 Aluminum with the wasp boss 3 blade heads they all shoot about 4 inches to the right. Should I align one blade with the main vain or with the string or striaght up with the center of rail? So in any case which way is up? lol Some say that 3 blade is better than 4 blade and the blade should be aligned with the string.
Question 2. Which is better plastic knocks or the aluminum? the aluminum arrows have plastic and the carbon have the aluminum.
Question 3. The best target. Right now I am using the 4X4 block 99.00 but still at 30 yards the arrows are going in past a inch or so on the fleching and tearing up the vains that is if I hit fresh meat if I hit around a used part that arrow sticks out 6 or more inches on the other side. I was toying with the idea of backing the target with convair belt rubber about 3/8 th thick any ideas or info. Thank You again people
are you shooting with a scope? if so, you will have to adjust it, that is why it is shooting to the right all the time, the scope does not come pre-set to your bow.
Dusty, previous replies on here regarding alignment claim that the blades should be aligned with the vanes for the best performance.
Other comments also claim that mechanicals fly better, and considered very similar to target points.
As far as targets, one of the cheapest that has been listed here is a grain sack tightly filled with grocery store ploy bags.
My personal preference is a cross woven poly outer sack, tightly filled with small pieces of scrap leather.
Have yet to see a full penetration of a target bolt, but broadheads will cut up your outer bag fairly quickly, but still good for many shots before it needs to be replaced.
Bob.

I take it you're sighted in with field points. If so, it's not unusual for fixed blade broadheads to group to a slightly different point of impact. Some are better than others in regard to grouping with field points, but as long as they shoot a tight group you can simply adjust your sights to center the group for hunting.
Q#2
As long as they're durable flat nocks it really shouldn't make much difference. I like to use the same inserts as the points go in for nocks.
Q#3
Now we're getting into a subject for real debate. Some people insist that the blades should align with the fletching, some (including me) feel it doesn't matter how the blades are oriented as long as the broadhead is aligned with the shaft (spins without wobble). I've been bowhunting for close to 40 years, tried & tested about every possibility, and as long as the broadhead passes the "spin test" it seems to make little or no difference how the blades are oriented. However, some broadhead designs are certainly better than others! It's best to try several brands and styles, then pick the one that gives the best performance.
My personal choice for a fixed blade broadhead is the G-5 Montec. They group right with field points out of my Phoenix and my traditional bows.
I've tried several targets and all failed to stop my arrows. I now set a square 2" thick foam archery target I bought at Dick's in front of my block. This doesn't stop them all the time, I have to keep moving my dots after 10 shots or so.
I have had good results from the McKenzie orange xbow target, about $70 I have two and they work for both tips. My Block was stripping vanes. The McK has cables on the 4 corners that you can easily tighten it up twice each. I try to keep b-head use on it to a minimum, just check zero ect. I went thru a bunch before I found these. At 20 yds w/ Emax I have about 6" of arrow sticking out to pull.
