SAFE MOSQUITO REMEDY

Post by Dusty »

MOSQUITO REMEDY

Pass this on to anyone who likes sitting out in the evening or

When they're having a cookout. So you don't like those pesky

Mosquitoes, especially now that they have the potential t o carry

The West-Nile Virus!

Here's a tip that was given at a recent gardening forum:

Put some water in a WHITE dinner plate and add a couple of drops

Of "Lemon Fresh Joy Dish Detergent". Set the dish on your porch,
Patio, or other outdoor area. I'm not sure what attracts them,

The lemon smell, the white plate color, or what, but mosquitoes

Flock to it, and drop dead shortly after drinking the Lemon

Fresh Joy/water mixture, and usually within 10 feet of the plate.

Check this out --- it works just super!!!

If this works in Northern Ontario, it should work in most other places and should be alot safer than the termal cell

Thanks Dusty! I'll give it a try. Skeeters just about carried me away last night at dark.

Worked for me!
I put a white plate with a few drops of dishwashing liquid out the other evening and the mosquitos have been scarce since!
But then the rains we've been having could be the reason......
Actually, mosquitos, fles, and ticks rarely bite me anyway. But them deerflies aren't so selective! Out with a buddy of mine the other evening looking at the food plots we're getting ready when he suddenly yelped and said: "Swat that deerfly eating a hole in my back! "
I yanked out my pocket knife, handed it to him, and told him, "Just cut it's head off when it comes through. "
He didn't think it was funny either.

Thanks Dusty. In northern ontario you would need a HUGE plate.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!
