WOLVERINE VALUE??

Post by jessejames »

I just picked up a excaliber wolverine crossbow. It came with 9 bolts, 3 field points, 6 wasp broadheads, quiver, and bushnell red dot scope. I'm just getting into crossbow hunting and picked it up from a buddy who has no idea of the value. What would you say this thing is worth? Also any specs and reviews of this bow would be awesome. Thanks

You got a nice looking Wolverine.Prices range on condition and accesseries, can run from $275 to over $400. There is my Wolverine boxed up for travel and together.

Don't let RJ talk you out of it, hes got enough of them now.

Wolverine was made from '86 to '92 the second model of Excal. they were 150 lb draw and had a speed of around 260 to 275 fps.

I have had a wolverine since 1992 amd it was an accurate bow and still is.

thanks alot fellas. I'm really hoping so. Since I'm pretty new to bow hunting what do you find is the best bolts and equipment to suit this bow. Also ideal yardage? I really appreciate the help.

Just from the pics I'd estimate $300. - $350.
Be careful to get the proper replacement string (NO FASTFLIGHT !!!!) for the carved limb tips and that Wolverine should give you years of good service!
