Doug, wishing you a successful operation, and speedy recovery. With today's technology, both should be a foregone conclusion.

Digger I really feal for ya. I know you'll do great. I just found out friday that they're going to replace both my knees. I'm going to try and do it after hunting season, because I don't think I'll have rehabed enough by then. Can't wait to hear how it goes.

The Doctor told me that if i wasnt careful playing football and snowboarding id need a new knee and possibly shoulder surgery by the age 25.

I laid off the snowboarding a bit this past winter and only got out 3 times.

But the football is one thing i cant stop, i love it too much.

Much luck, hope your ready for the hunting season.

I too was wondering what happened in the first place if you dont mind.

I was told the same thing, for snowboarding. I told the doctor to kiss my butt basically. I haven't injured my knee in a few years, but I've got shoulder problems from tearing the legiments and dislocating it a few times now.
