Who Builds the Vari-Zone and Lumi-Zone?

Post by DrDan »

Just curious if anyone knows who manufactures these scopes for Excalibur. "For the money" they both seem to be fine optics. My gosh I have scopes up to $900, so to grab onto this quality for $150 it is a bargain. Just wonder who makes them and if the manufacturer also makes rifle scopes.

:?: I heard BSA , they make all the lighted scope,s for GAMO high power air guns , and many other companys. That is what I heard . Any way I have a GAMO EXTREEM HUNTER 1600 F.P.S. with there scope and this so caled air gun is NO JOKE it will take a boar or deer without any problem it's hypersonic (1600 F.P.S.) and the scope takes the reverse recoil of a high power air gun , so why not a XBOW ??? Just whay I have heard

I only hope it isn't made by BSA! Would not have bought mine had I known. The first and last BSA red dot I bought had a wondering dot...moved with each shot of a .22 pistol. That explains why the ocular bell FELL OFF my neighbor's new Lumi Zone after just half dozen shots.

When you walk into Excalibur's factory there is a plaque from Tasco.. I suspect they are made by Tasco..

The plaque you see upon entering the shop is an old one given as a gift .

Gamo gets that advertised speed only using a much lighter pellet, 6 grains I think. Put a regular 177 pellet in it and it makes about 1000 fps. 6 grains will take a boar of deer *are you sure*?
