Maybe Bill should consider the dampener system on my bow . . .I've shot about 1500 shots through it now. No problems and I am still using the same set of limbsavers.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.

It's not JUST noise. The stoppers will also keep the string from oscillating up on to the riser. That ought to save some wear on the strings.

My initial thought when I saw this was that it could be rough on the limbs, but these STSs are used *extensively* on vertical bows. If there was a problem with them damaging limbs, I don't think they'd be so popular on archerytalk.net or huntingnet.com.
