Good work on getting her in the fridge. I would be tired too. They are calling for some rain today or tonight but it won't be much. A quarter inch at most. Good luck on Sat. sounds like you will be in a good area. Find the water and they will come.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day anywhere else.

Congratulations on the doe. She should be good eating.
A couple more days until season opens here, but I just can't get too excited about it with the weather we've been having. With the hot weather it's a mad dash to get one out of the field, to the check station, and to the processor's cooler, a mad dash I could do without if I didn't want some fresh venison in the freezer.
At least we got a little rain today. The temps are dropping down at night, but the prediction is for a high of near 80° F on opening day. Oh well, if one gives me a good shot I'll take it! Bought an antlerless tag and a regular tag this morning, so I'm set for a buck or doe.
