Well new to me anyway.....
For those who haven't tried skinning a deer using an ATV Winch or similar, you have to try it. What a slick process.
My neighbour Vince, my son Riley and I picked up a nice little roadkill doe last night and used Vince's ATV winch to skin it. After cutting around the neck and legs we hung her up, wrapped a golf ball in the skin around the neck, hooked it up to the ATV winch and about 5 seconds later she was skinned clean, even the tail!
Hopefully we'll fill a few of the tags we still have before the end of the season and we'll get to try it again.

When we process deer we have a eye bolt in a cement floor and we hook a clamp to the hide on the neck and use a hoist to peel the deer like a rabbit. Its nice if you have 20-25 deer to do, but I can still skin one out just as fast by hand since it normally only takes me 3-5mins maybe
The one big plus of doing the above is that it keeps the meat clean since some cover the meat with hair when they skin the deer

Got the opportunity this gun season to skin our deer with a ATV, works great. I've attached some "YouTube" links on the subject.
