WoooHooo , how many of us Ontario TURKEY hunters will be taking this day off work April 25th this year is a FRIDAY!!!! Turkey opener, i know for sure i will be booking that day off work . OOOOH i cant wait. GOBBLE !!!!GOBBLE !!!!!.

My work knows months in advance that regardless of what day the 25th falls on, I won't be working

! They work me pretty hard when I'm there and I can't remember the last sick day I took, so they don't mess with the openers anymore

Fortunately, the good people at the MNR decided on the 25th of April as the annual opening of turkey season, the same date which happens to be my wedding anniversary. My gift to my wife serves two purposes - to celibrate our wedding day, and to bribe her for forgiveness for being in the turkey woods every chance possible for the next few weeks.

I'm already off that day. One of the benefits of shift work!

Riley and I are taking out turkey course this Saturday in Tillsonburg.

My whole school has the day off for some reason on that day, Bonus for me, I don't have to skip!
