Splinter on limb

Post by sinclair »

Came across a small splinter on the limb of my Exocet. It is on the front towards the top. I may have trouble getting out to Kitchener to have it looked at before the season starts. Although odds are against me pulling the trigger should I leave it uncocked until the problem is fixed? or will it still perform for the first two or three hunts?

One way of finding out, brother! :D

Honestly, I doubt that a small spinter will result in a partial or complete limb failure ... but when in doubt, change it out. You can do the install yourself; at least, I'd think you could. Don't know about warranty issues, though.

I am bringing it there to inquire about warranty coverage as their was no wrong doing on my part to cause it. Just pressed for time and don't wanna spend one of the days I booked off to hunt on driving out to Kitchener as their hours may make me unable to do it before the opener.
