New Crossbow Case
Just received the new Excalibur delux crossbow case and it is really nice. I only have one problem--the right side large pocket is sewn on upsidedown and the zipper runs down around the bottom instead of the top as in the pictures. Season starts saturday--thought I had this planned out just right but I am afraid this one will have to go back--waiting on outdoor experience to call back to see who I deal with on this problem. Other than that I will definately have another one!

This is absolutely not the vendor's fault as the side pouch is obviously sewn on upside down from the manufacturer. Worst case scenario it would work but when you unzip it anything in it would fall out of the bottom rather than your having to reach into the pouch and lift things out. I think this pouch is for the quiver and bolts as it is quite long and the pouch on the other side is triangular and is for other goodies. But from the picture on the advertising card attatched to the case you can see that it is sewn on upside down.

Just got a call back from the owner of outdoor experience and he is going to send me a new one right out and give me the info to send this one back when I call him tomorrow. Was very helpful and curtious and even said he would refund the return shipping. I offered to buy another one and then just get a credit when he gets this one back but he said he would just trust me and send another out. This is the type of service that keeps customers coming back and makes my evening that much better.

Hang on there guys!
The cases represent the very first batch that came in from a new supplier in (yuk) China. Our samples were done with the zipper on the top of the pouch but the thousands that came in had the zipper on the bottom side. We decided that the location of the zipper wasn't important enough to shut the product down since the pouch works as sewn and is a secondary part of the case. If you are unhappy with it I expect that the dealer might take it back, but as of now we have none that are zippered on the other side.

I got my new case and of course it was just the same. The old case went back anyway because the sling swivel snap was broken. The same swivel snap broke on the new one as soon as I lifted it with the bow in it. I epoxyed bot swivels and they are strong now! There is no real need for them to swivel anyway. As far as the quiver pouch being upside down? Well after two trips out to the field I must admit this is a pain and I will either remove this one and sew it on right or get another of the new batch and this one will be available relatively cheap for those who don't care. It is not easy to get the quiver out of the pouch in this configuration as it catches on the zipper stop as you try to pull it out from the bottom rather than from the top. Otherwise it does work and the case itself is the cats meow. Bill I am sorry I did not see your origional reply before I put Brian at Outdoors Experience through the paces. But I did get to see just how hard he worked to make things right and I will be buying from him again. He sent me out a new case on trust, did not charge me and is going to refund my return shipping. One last thing--all who got the new case I would recommend gluing the sling swivels where the two pieces join or you might find you case and bow dropping off your shoulder and landing on the scope side if you have a scope. At the very least inspect those arrow head snap joints on the male snap as it was one side of the push in lock that just dropped off on both cases I saw. I think the plastic was just a bit brittle on some of them.

I just received one of the new cases and my right sided zipper is upside down. Its not a big deal as i am sure i will get use to it. I bought ravenwear clothing which is a company out of alberta that specializes in cold weather clothes. All the zippers that should be on the right side are on the left side. When it comes to x-bows and cold weather clothing the canadians do it fine. Now when it comes to zippers they just like to mix things up.
