Thats pretty cool Don
With that and lighted nocks you could light your way.
You could use extra arrows as blood trail markers.

Here's some more info.

OK to ship to Canada it cost me $.90cents per dzn if I send them per dzn
like the one's you bought on ebay then the envelope cost.

On a bulk ordered I'd just charge you the actual ship rate plus packaging
I'd send them the cheapest way possible. So in terms of shipping it
depends on the amount and the size of the envelope. I hate to quote you
and be wrong I'd just have to check on the amount you want. For sure got
to be $1.00 or less per dzn.

The biggest break is that ebay and paypal fee's cost me about $3.00 per
dzn sold. I'd like to receive payment from paypay pal which is about 5% of
the total money received or by money order.

So I'd sell them base price 1-5 $10.00 per dzn 6-9 $9.50 10-no max $9.00 +
paypal % fee and actual shipping cost.

So for example only, if you ordered 1-5 $10.00 say ship was a $1.00 and
paypal was 5% of 10=.50 your looking at $11.50-13.25 saving you min $1.75
per dzn if shipping was a $1.00. Then 6-10 thats $2.27 10-no max $2.80.

As for the glow. Here is manufacture statement 3 min sunlight or
fluorescent light will give you 8hrs glow rate. No where in there
statements does it say what intensity the light source has to be keep it
at full glow rate potential. This means that the glow rate starts when the
molecules speed start slowing down ie less light. In a hunting application
I had to find a pigment in a wrap that would stay at close to the peak of
full glow rate with the least amount of light exposure to where you could
see it well enough when you got out of your tree stand. Before these wraps
I had to get on my hands and knees to find my arrow and often time's come
back the next day to find my arrow. Now before I climb out of my stand I
already can see my arrow. Had a deer last year take my arrow and break off
the wrap end as it run down the trail and I saw the wrap before I spotted
the blood trail. Had a deer a couple yrs ago take my arrow 50yrd down a
trail in knee high grass before it flipped out. I totally thought my deer
had run in a different direction,so I though one of my arrow came out of
my quiver which ticked me off. Ended up to be the shot arrow which blood
trail was right there that led me to the deer. If I'd have to put a time
limit, I'd give 4hrs min from dusk till dark that you have to find your
arrow. As long as you have a general area where you flung your arrow out
of a tree stand it shouldn't take but a few seconds. Open range shot's
only work into a target not intend for this purpose. Hope this help get
with me and see if this price works for you.

Thanks Olaveson

I always wrap above the vanes of my arrows with 3m reflective tape. It doesnt glow but if your light hits it, it glows very brite. Like those reflective tacks they sell (bright eyes). I also make my own reflective tacks with the same tape and a hole punch. you can make a hundred in a short time very cheap. I mark every potential stand site with a trail going in and out, especially those way back in a swamp. the ones I pinned up 10 years ago are still there and glowing.I could never find some stands in the dark, or find my way out after dark.

Jay,

Does the strip of reflective tape do anything to your arrow flight.

Also, If anyone would like a foot or two of reflective tape, shoot me a PM and address and I'll send you some. I also use as Jay does for marking tree stands and trails.

I am intrigued by this product. I like the concept better then the lighted nock.

My concern about the product is this. How do deer react to these little beacons in low light conditions?

Is the movement of my crossbow with the arrows in the quiver (groundpounder) more noticeable by the deer at those times right at the beginning or end of legal shooting hours?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The ones I got from Boo don't light up or illuminate when shot like the lighted nocks. It makes your arrow easy to find with a flashlight after dark.

same thoughts here also Mike... I know they will glow some after the sunsets. Whether deer can see that I dont know. I like sneeking out of the woods and these would show my movement, espically to other hunters. Actaully they could help make things safer coming out of the woods because other hunters could see you.

I have yet to have any issues finding my plain wraps.. i still wouldnt mind trying some of these to see how they work
