bumed dr report my deer season is n trouble whats left of it
well i had my yearly check up today. everything was going well until i asked the dr to look a my left knee. i told him its been given me some trouble the last few weeks. so up goes the pants leg and before i got it up over the knee out comes you have a torn hamstring and a bad one at that. well now thats just dandy. i have to have a mir and possible some surgey on it. i asked him if i can go hunting still and he said only if i hunt from the ground no climbing at all. why can t these things happen in the summer time?

My season, too is in some jeopardy. My dad has been diagnosed with cancer, and I have been busy running him back and forth to doctors. Once the full diagnosis is complete, that should calm down. I completely missed bow and ML season, and I have only been twice all year.
My wife is the only one to kill a deer this year, which she took with our van.
I go in Dec. 4 for a pre-op for surgery on my shoulder. I have a SLP tear that can't wait anymore. I do have one spot I can hunt after the surgery where I can shoot one-handed. I also have put a feeder just outside my backyard. It's a 28 yard shot off the grill on the deck.
Where there's a will, there's a way!
Good luck with the knee.

Dad's 84, so his odds of beating it are slim. He'll be lucky to get another year. He's had a long life, his salvation is assured, so there's nothing really to worry about. He just got a little advance notice of his departure, which is no small courtesy. I am going to try to get him in the blind once before Christmas. He hasn't hunted in years.
