My Buddys Buck

Post by Farmer »

The controlled hunt for 92b ( 1 week with muzzle loaders ) just ended . Our group did fairly well again this year considering how darn hot it was . My son Justin had no luck again this year . I was able to take a good doe with my crossbow ( the Saturday before the controlled hunt started ) and another with my ML . Brad took a button buck and then a 6 point with his muzzle loader.

The 6 point came in at an honest 270 #  He does have the luck of the Irish when it comes to good bucks . Here are a few picture of our hunt .

That's not the widest 6 point that I've ever seen, but it is far and away the biggest. The antlers are massive in size for a 6pt.

Wow awsome mount potential their.

My turn in WMU92B next week. I only have a surplus doe tag though. Buck tag was used last week in WMU84.

WOW!
92B is a good area. I have been rewarded with good success in that region for the last 20 years.
Congrats on that one. HUGE!

That buck must be mounted!

Something that unique deserves to be chronicled.
