you can see how far forward i hit her but ive always been taught to envision what the arrow will pass through even if it doesnt seem right. 2 lungs and the heart = roast in the oven. very fat deer. almost like skinning a coon

Nice shot. I was taught to picture a basketball between the front legs of a deer and no matter which way they are standing or at what angle from you, always keep in mind that you want to punch through that basket ball. That sounds simple but has worked for me. By the way, just from a safety perspective, are you sure you want to have a loaded crossbow with a broadhead in it like that for pictures? Just don't want you or someone else to get hurt buddy. Harry

didnt really think about the bolt. but even if it did go off, theres a steep hill that woulda caught the bolt...or my leg :lol:

had her heart tonight fried with onions :D
