foot stirrip

my brother gave my daughter an old barnet crossbow today but it needs a stirrip .anyone know where i mite find one he said it is mounted on the bottom and folds ahead when you need it .not much of a bow but ok for her to see if thats what she wants to do .on our way home she surprized me and said she and her 12 year old girl friend want to take the hunting course as soon as they can thanks munch

I would say that the bow can likely be all she needs for a while.. get a rope stringer...

he gave her an excalibur rope but there is nowhere to place her foot.i can place the butt to my chest to load it but she is to small thanks munch

my first cross bow was a horton steelforce ( piece of s#$t) but the stirup on it was a heavy strap maybe you could adapt something like that to work

thanks all .gary i will post a pic latter tonight of the bow i,m on my way out the door to the dentist then took the rest of the day off to head down to longpoint icefishing munch
