Groundpounder mount(very nice peice)

Post by crazyfarmer »

I got my groundpounder mount a few weeks ago and finally got around to installing it. That took maybe 2mins tops. I had the Dan Miller style mount which I liked, but didnt like when lowering my bow from the stand since the arrows would snag on tree's. Now it feels like a brand new bow :D

but thanks for donating these to the contest winners! If anyone needs a quiver mount, give him a PM. Top notch product and QUICK shipping! I believe mine was here 1-2 days after he said it shipped!

but thanks again from Team Va for donating these 8) :D

I'm glad you all like them! I've sold out a little quicker than expected here. I am in the process of a new batch right now and am expecting them available within 2 weeks. Thanks again to everyone!

Ground pounder mount

What is this. I'm in the process of buying my first Excalibur bow. Do I need this instead of the right stuff package that comes with the bows??

the right stuff has the quiver mount where it comes off the bottom right of the bow. The ground pounder one goes on top of the bow so the quiver points down the bow towards the foot peg(nock of arrows points at you). The Dan Miller bracket mounts in the same spot somewhat but has the quiver parallel with the limbs of the bow. I like both and have both styles now :P :D

I really haven't heard yet. Knowing that red dots usually have a wide field of view think that you might be able to see some of the mount with it. If anyone has tried it and knows, let us know.

I haven't heard anyone mention this point yet but a surprising side benefit of the groundpounder mount is that it holds the hood of the quiver to where the bow will stand up by itself. I find this very beneficial as even when your foot is put through the stirrup the bow cannot fall forward on to the scope while you are fumbling around with numb, cold fingers try to get the cocking aid on.

Cool mount.

I can't say enough about these mounts (and the service - Todd is awesome)!!

I have ordered a couple last year and have 3 more on request. Once people see how well the bow is balanced, and that the quiver is out of the way - plus it makes it easier to carry with a sling, and raise into the tree stand... looks awesome to boot. My crew is sold on them.

HIGHLY recommended.
