fletching

Post by 7magman »

i went out and shot my vortex yesterday, wow! at 30 yards it was just awsome, i was just stacking arrows tight together which gets me to my problem, i need to refletch some. i have a fletching jig but i haven't figured out a way to use it with the flat nocks. do they make adapters or does somebody have an idea how i can make some. any and all help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

What you're looking for is a crossbow bolt adaptor for fletching jigs.

Just enter those three words into a search engine, and you're off to the races! :D Good luck! 8)

I don't have your answer but someone here will.
I just wanted to say that after my first practice session with my Ibex I never aimed at the same spot if there was an arrow already in it.   not even at the longer distances. Too many times I put the arrow in the very same hole as the last one. I have to laugh when I think of ordering my first arrows from Danny Miller. He said I would only need 6. I didn't believe him because a whole dozen was never enough with my compound. I wasn't THAT bad but I did lose alot of arrows over the years by either just missing the target or accidentally hitting them with another arrow and they weren't robin hoods.
