If some persons don`t agree with my thoughts so be it .
It got me thinking at work today .We have many persons from different parts of the country whom hunt many different ways . With dogs, over beanfields with rifles, shotguns, vertical bows, traditional bows and over bait .
I feel strongly that if it is a legal method of hunting in their jurisdiction .Then there should be no reason for any person to try and make another feel guilty about the way they harvested their personal trophy .

Twenty or thirty years ago I was very opinionated. Bowhunting meant using traditional bows! Today (as the joints are wearing out) bowhunting means using anything that will launch an arrow!

Thats what I`m getting at . I personally will use an instrument available to hunt . I have come to enjoying using the muzzleloader during shotgun/muzzleloader season . I hunt does because that is what shows itself. I`m not adverse to shooting a BIG buck but that chance doesn`t come as often as it does for some people . I enjoy hunting over bait or food plots as well .While doing this I know the chances in late season of seeing a buck are not good but I really enjoy eating venison not antlers .

:D :D By the time you get to my time of life just to be able to still go
out hunting is great, I am more than willing to use any legal means at
my disposal and the meat in the freezer sure tastes good and also helps
the pensions go further.

I'm right beside you on this doemaster.
I personally use any and all methods of hunting, if it's legal, I'm doing it!
And I really don't care what anyone has to say about it. It is legal for a reason. The only thing anyone should be saying is Good Luck! Or Congrat's!! You would be really hard pressed to get me to feel guilty about hunting any method legally.

Yes if it is legal do it. I'll hunt any way that is within the law, but it really makes me as mad as a hornet when somebody is not hunting legal.

Amen and amen, Doe Master!

I've said that same thing on here many times before.

I have no use for elitism in hunting, and little tolerance for those who condemn others for using legal methods.

I say: Let people hunt ... the way they want to.

You can bet I'll be hunting the way I want to! :P

All these legal methods are the way it should be, as long as it's where they are allowed to hunt not sneaking in trespassing or dropping a tailgate on your land from the road, I have nothing against legal, just my thoughts.

To each their own as long as it's legal. I personally believe in using the most accurate method that would offer the quickest, most humane death. I won't be out with a bow during rifle season. :D
