anyone hunting with an "old excalibur"
I was wandering if anyone was still hunting/shooting with an old model excal? if so, please post a picture of the bow as i have only seen the last 4or 5 years of excals; thanks and am waiting to see "the oldies but goodies"....

OK, I'll start. Not super old, but its a mid-1990's Exocet 165 with carved tip limbs. No matter how hard I try, I just cannot find a reason to replace it!

That's another advantage Excalibur has over a lot of other crossbows. They might go out of style, but they never seem to wear out!
The newer bows being produced are still the same basic design & quality Excalibur has produced for years, they just have a few cosmetic refinements. Some upgrades (like mag-tip limbs) allow the use of more modern strings (fast flight), but they really don't gain much advantage over the old style limbs like you have. I wouldn't feel a bit disadvantaged if I traded my Phoenix for your bow. They will both be accurate and dependable, and they will both take care of about any hunting situation you can find in North America!

I will be useing a 92 wolverine on most days this year.
Not because I have to, because I want to , I promised Cristy a picture of it's first kill for her hunting album she is making of her Dad. When My Son's come hunting they can use it or my new one, there choice. Added sling studs and a munch mount since this picture.
