big 9 back on cuddeback;)
I checked the cameras today and it seems the bucks are changing their patterns some. The beans here are about 5ft tall, so its impossible to get field shots now unless they walk within 5ft of the camera. Im going to reloacte a few cams tomorrow into the wood edge on trails so it will be hit or miss their also. The fog around the soybeans fields at night here is so bad you cant get any good pictures anyway. Its humid and hot at night which doesnt make a good photo at all.
But I moved a camera to a different area last week. Sure enough the bog 9 stopped by 4 times for a picture on different nights. Ive got this buck patterned over a 2 mile area. I know where his core is at, but its hills and thickets. Impossible to hunt, but im there and ready. If he comes by any of my stands, ill have a 10 yard shot since thats about as far as I can see.
I want this buck.. but if I dont get him Ill be happy since he will be a beast next season. But he has to get past about 50-60 other hunters also
here is his recent pic from this week... I have a total of about 35 pics of this one buck.
he might go in the 145range gross... he's only a 3.5 year old

btw, Mike P.. i took your advice on this one. I moved one camera into a thicket and only had 15 pics form this week, but all are bucks. Close up and personal shots also. This spot on the above pic is the only open area and its maybe 12x12 in size. On both sides its so thick you have to crawl to get to this tree
Im going to do the same for my others now since most of these bucks are in the woods feeding on acorns
