Hey i was over on the Tn.deerdotcom site and saw pic's of it. all i can say better him than me. i would still be cleaning up in the shower!

I had a jennings crossbow blow up on me YEARS ago
Still have a scar where the limb smacked my face.
A Barnett I sold (brand new) blew up on the new owner.

Since someone else brought up the topic...we had one go on us at the Toronto Bass Pro last week.

Last year Excalibur gave us a spare set of limbs "just in case" a customer had a problem. We haven't had a need for them yet...

Had a Quad 400 go up on me. Had never heard of Excals, so did the two finger shop' in a Cabelas cat [pre-puter days], then heard about Excal which I'd seen in cat and ordered my Emax same night.

UPS brought them both same day, never opened the Bnett box til a buddy bought it off me a month later.

I was shooting at house flys at 20 w/ Emax, he was trying to get a 3" group at 20 when Capn Dan took over.

Bud was a hard time VN vet and when it went off, he hit the concrete like incoming, lol.

Wasn't funny then.

My parker terminator blew up on me also. Parker couldn't even bother to reply to my e-mails regarding their "Lifetime" warranty. The stock broke where the main bolt pins the bow head which then caused the limbs to crack or vise/versa cause it all happened pretty quick!!
Glad to belong to the excal club now.

i searched and researched all over the place before i bought my excal i could not find any other brand that had not blown up on someone,needless to say after shooting my vortex i am a very happy camper.
