We've got one of the original ones and it works pretty slick on deer once you get it right. For all the joking around it's actually a pretty useful tool (just like the SheWee).
Butt Out Technology explodes!!!
Great post!

4 is such a fun age, and you can sure have some interesting conversations with them. Makes for some awkward moments though, doesn't it?

Sorry if I make this sound like a "Southern" or "Northern" kinda reply, but I have never seen or heard of this "Butt Plug" or whatever the actual name is.
In all of my years of skinning and processing my own deer, (real close to 51 yrs old now), I would never have imagined something like this "tool"??
Call me old school or whatever, but a good SHARP knife is all that me and every hunter I know personally have ever used to cut out around that particular "hole".
Blood and guts comes with this hunting passion thing we do. Don't shoot it if ya don't want to clean it and eat it.
To each his own, but I don't mind getting a little stink on me when I take an animal for eating.
No offense meant here, but I think I'll do without this new fangled "butt tool" during my lifetime.

It sure is tempting, isn't it?B-Logger wrote:I never could see a need for those things, but I do have to admit that I met someone earlier today that, well, things didn't go so good. So I now feel that I am in need of one of these and I know exactly how it should be used.....
They really are pretty slick for deer though - once you do it right, it's super-simple, clean & quick.
