After a few successful years of hunting my honey hole out of a blind I decided to elevate myself a few feet to be able to see across the entire field that I watch and get better up close opportunities. With the new stand (6 feet high) I felt very exposed and after a couple of years it seemed that deer were very suspicious around it so i decided to get the best of both worlds and install my ground blind onto my tree stand.
Here is the before pic.
and here is the after pic
Kind of look slike some sort of camo lunar lander sticking it tongue out doesn't it?
Anyway feeling very confident about sitting there this year.
Thanks for posting the pics!
I've been seriously considering doing that same thing with one of my blinds for some time now. I have one location where a few feet elevation would make a huge difference.
Did you use a "trap door" for access?????

yes I used a standard Skid and added about three feet to it and a trap door in the middle
