Vortex roll over

Post by Gutshot »

Was target shooting my vortex today with GT laser 2's and had a roll over. Wasnt sure what happened at first. I had loaded the bolt like usual, and when I pulled the trigger the bolt just kinda jumped off the rail and landed a couple or three feet to the front left of me. The bolt had little spirals down it, guess from the wax on the string. It wasnt damaged. I inspected the limbs like I learned on here, with a cotton ball and all seems well. I shot it some more with no problems. Does this just happen every now and then?

Apparently the arrow wasn't against the string/serving. It must have slid down a little. Not good.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Ok, appreciate it. The main concern would be damage to the limbs, correct? And if the cotton ball didnt snag anything, all is probably good to go?
