I was out doing some scouting today in one of my favorite spots. Not a lot of deer in my area right now so the deer are kinda scarce at the moment barely worth going out and hunting. But on my journey today I found a large sigh of relief the buck I targeted last year is still alive. I've been wondering bout him as I know he is targeted by a large group of people in the shotgun season and he's been distinguishable for 5 years. He lives in this massive swamp and it's hell to go in and hunt him in there, and I swear he only comes out for the rut, and well i know this bucks route. And I've finally seen his first set of tracks.
And in case you're wondering why he is called McNasty last year he was a mammoth heavy 11 pointer with 1 point being a paddle like drop tine on his left rack. This buck is a smart old buck and has given me and tonnes of others the slip but i'm feeling confident that the exocet will claim him as it's first victim. Cross your fingers.
McNasty Lives
