the chinese can make anything cheaper then anyone can in north america cause of labor rates and cost of materials. we had lots of discussions about this in my economics class i am in. jsut wait till their cars start arriving just like the korean cars did a few years back. a guy in our class is a small engine mechanic and he said they make an engine that is such a clone of a honda engine that you can even use honda parts to repair it!

how many of you are using a product made in china that used to be made in north america? if you look around i bet there are lots of them. if you make the best product at the best price peeps are going to buy them its the way things work.

as far as i can tell excalibur still makes the best crossbow at the best price.

That is just the small stuff, the big cost that gets dodged is the research and development of the product, to actually sit down and create a product can put a person in the poor house, although the costs of production are cheaper overseas the initial introduction is significantly higher than production.
When the Chinease produce cars the face of the world will change, there is a good chance they will sink what is left of the North American automotive industry.
The Koreans are setting the standard with quality control, their cars are better made than those produced here.

If Excalibur started farming out the actual crossbow production to China, I would not buy another one... The scope cannot harm me or anyone around me... I would Never buy/let alone fire a chinese made 300 Win Mag either.
