New Exocet

Post by petev »

Well I got my new Exocet in the mail today. I want to thank you all for the advice you had provide on this forum. A great group of folks. I ordered from Dan Miller, and everything went as smooth as can be. When the bow arrived, all I had to do was bolt the bow to the riser....the rest was done. Two bolts. I have not shot it yet....dark, but I will get to that this weekend. Dan has it sighted as well. I had looked around a little, but I think Dan is more than fair and would recommend him highly to anyone considering a new bow. I got the varizone scope, Dan's quiver bracket, and the other right stuff basics. So after years of compound bow hunting, I am making a transition. Still hanging onto the compound but excited to get out and shoot this baby.

Welcome to the forum > I shoot the Exocet as well . It is very accurate . Have used it for hunting and 3D shooting . I could not ask for any crossbow to serve me better . If you shoot more than 1 arrow per spot on a target you will trash some arrows !

Welcome! I got an Exocet in August as a 65th BD present. One shot, one kill this past deer season. Oh, BTW did you realize that all Exocets come free with a Deer Magnet package? :)

Take care...

Well just got in the backyard and shooting the bow for the first time. Right out of the box from Dan Miller, I was shooting consistently at 1 to 2 inches high of a quarter size bullseye at 20 yards. Not too bad, I would say. I had a couple other questions for Dan this morning and he quickly addressed them and gave me a smile with his wit, humor, and frank approach. To say I am impressed with this bow and Mr. Miller is an understatement. I feel good today!
