I need find some way to find out arrows weigh! I was scale that didn't cost that much. I would appreciate any and all advice you guys might have.
Oh yeah, I am shooting a x Phoenix. I just got it Saturday and shot it Sunday. I have vari=zone scope on it. My question is how does the setting with the speed ifrom 200 to 350 work? I know it has something to do with your chrono speed. But I can't get mine tested. So I guessed at about 290 and then just sighted it like I would any gun. Then I stepped off ten more yards and punched the target Then I repeated the process at 40 yds and punches the target. Bulls-eye's most of the time. Is that how it is done?

Re: Scales
You don't need to know the speed.
Sight in at 20 yards using the crosshairs. Do not touch your crosshair adjustments afterwards.
Step back to 40 yards and using the center crosshairs on the bullseye shoot a group.
While holding the crosshairs on the bullseye turn the speed ring till the second chevron intersects the center of the group you just shot from 40 yards.
Check your 10 and 30 yard marks by shooting at the appropriate yardages.
Oh, when done, tape or mark your speed ring so it cannot be moved. You will have to either check and or adjust the crosshairs or speed ring for different arrow, string or brace height changes.
