Have a gander at the Knee Pod (made by Horton), great for tree stands and blinds, light and inexpensive.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!

Harris bipods (S model)

"S models" swivel, enabling the legs to stay put and crossbow/rifle to rotate, well worth the extra $
Never argue with an idiot; they will only bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

i have the same as black jack on my crossbow. it is great for target shooting and sighting in, but have found it a bit short in the legs when trying to hunt in even short grass. you can get different models with longer legs i think.
