Hey Steve!
Good to see you on the Excal Forum! I also purchased a Phoenix a few weeks ago and LOVE it! If you liked the Victory arrows you will love the Xbolts also... They fly great from my Excal @ 445 gr. :D

Hey Tom how are you ?

I'm using the Excalibur Firebolt carbon arrows with 100 grain tips at the moment, as I only shoot 3D I need to keep as close to our society's limit of 300fps as I can.

They come in at 365 grains and that gives me a consistent 288 fps :D

As ever they are expensive in europe, each arrow with 100gn tip costs me the equivalent of $13.00 !!!!!!!!!

No where near as violent as without STS. I watched several times and could not see string hitting the riser.
