hello all,
got a question. got an excalibur vortex. when on stand does leaving the bow cocked for hours at a time create a limb fatigue that would cause a low shot, say at 35 yards for example?
thanks

Re: limb fatigue
I remember a post where one of the Excalibur team, at a outdoor show, left one of their bows in a enclosed trailer in hot weather with no damage.

Re: limb fatigue
I shoot my Exomax a lot(mainly while I am testing strings), I too was concerned about limb fatigue after several thousand shots.
Every once in a while, I will shoot at the 20 yard target . . .dead center. Then I'll back up to thirty yards, use the 20 yard mark on my scope and aim for the same spot. The arrow will hit low, of course. I then measure the drop and compare it to the charts on Excalibur's website( http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/conten ... ballistics )to make sure I haven't lost anything.
So far, no loss, none, nada, zip, zero . . .

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Re: limb fatigue
Ok, nobody brought this up, so I will. If your poi shifts, 1st thing to check is your bheight, especially w/ 'new' strings. Imho.
