I got my Vixen II today... was very excited to get it together (I already have a Phoenix) but as I laid out everything there were no 5/16 socket head tapered bolts and special washers??? to bolt the limbs on the stock)...
Wont be shooting her this weekend...
I probably can find the bolts at the hardware store...but the washers???
Should I call Excalibur or go straight to Danny Miller?
Call right away but go thru the packaging really well inside cardboard sleeves.
It happens but I can guaranty they will get you the bolts and washers asap.
Just use some regular bolts and flat washers from the hardware store until you get the proper ones. A bit of masking tape under the washers will heep the rail from getting scratched.
Call Dan Miller today rather than Excalibur - it's Canadian Thanksgiving this Monday and you won't be able to reach them until Tuesday.
The washers are the same design we use on vertical bow limb bolts. Call a local archery shop. Ahhhh just read your last post while typing this but I guess it's info for the next guy down the road.
