Blue colored stringers

Post by mailman1 »

I had only used my blue stringer 10 times since I have owned my bow. I was just pulling up the stringer to string the bow, and then half way up, the blue end exploded. Luckily it wasn't all the way up. So, I ordered another one, but the ends are black. Just to make sure this doesn't happen again, I but a heavy Zip Tie around the outside of the black end. This should keep it together.

i've heard the blue ones used a different type/weaker plastic in the mold and the new black ones are much stronger
