thx, same chart i found....i got 30 lbs meat from doe last sat and no way she only weighed 49 lbs dressed 
....i know what 50 lbs is to pick up and she at least doubled that

That chart sounds a bit optimistic in it's edible meat column. 
I guess if you scraped every bone and included fat, gristle, and silverskin it might be close.

right wabi, the avg weight of the avg doe is just over 100 lbs and the one i took was over 100 easy by how heavy she was to get hung....i'm by no means a super strong guy, but i have no troubles gettin 50 lbs over my head, but i couldn't get this doe hung up using a rope and pully from the ground and had to use my pickup bed to stand in to lift her to the hanging hook ....no way was she just 49 lbs even looking at her in my thread pic
