Allen Key Wrench set

Post by Raymond »

Hey Folks,
Does anyone of you know which brand of Allen key wrench sets have all of the Allen wrenches in one case that works for the Excalibur Crossbow? I do not like having the ones that came with the crossbow in my hunting pack, I would rather they be in a case.
Thank you,
Raymond

Good one !
I am having the same concern. Was thinking about putting a small closed bag inside the crossbow carrying case. The compact Allen set I use for my bike does not fit the crossbow bolts, unfortunately.

I bought one set and it was not what I need.
This should get the results.

Are you asking if you need a standard or metric set?

I use the 12 piece standard set from Bondhus . Comes in a handy plastic holder . :)

Any good quality Imperial set that has 3/16 at the top end should do the job, EXCEPT that the Excalibur branded scope rings are metric, so you'll need a single separate key for those.

I've never seen a folding set that has both metric and Imperial on it.

may be able to take the screw out that holds the set together and replace an unused key with the metric key for the scope.princess auto sells sets cheap all the time or even canadian tire

Good idea Munch about possibly replacing one for another.
