Excellent Job Mike. Them close up shots really show the quality of that stock. Beautiful pattern on the wood. You've brought that out well.

Mike, you outdid yourself. Not only on Boo's stock but with all the play-by-play pics and commentary. Thank you very much! As someone who's made my own wood Exocet stock I can say I learned a lot from you and the next one I make will be a lot better. I'm definitely going to try some of that new finish you used, it looks super.

Now Boo has the hardest decision to make. Will he hang it on the wall for good or take it out in the woods and climb a tree with it? I hope it sees the woods at least a little. Gary

Stock definately turned out beautiful!!
It was fun following this thread.

Boo, you'll have to post a couple pics once you have it fully assembled. :)

Yes there is enough let over in that blank and it can have YOUR name on it Sir. :) And, I have many more blanks of black walnut and curly maple and quilted maple and can get laminated birch it different colors. You tell me what you want and I will do my level best to make it just for you.
