middleton crossbows, a bit of a joke ah...

Post by blackjack »

g'day, l was looking at these crossbows on his website today, l had thought that he was finished, they are very much like an excalibur? l'd say this guy has been going through the rubbish bins at the excalibur factory & scrounging around for stuff that excalibur has thrown out as seconds. l'd give the bloke 10 points for making his own design but to copy someone elses hard work that's pretty weak ah, in fact l would have thought that there would have been some sort of copy right laws on that type of thing. frank

I have a buddy that bought 2 strickly because of the speed, They are a nice bow but I would never buy one for personal reasons. Do a search and you will find many posts about this subject. There are even posts from Bill T on the subject. But I am sure you remember all them old posts being a member since 2008. :) :)

Cannon bolt is just another Chinese copy or clone of the Excalibur

If their going to copy one they are going to copy the best.
China has no laws stopping a company from stealing a product design.
Buyer beware I personally will not buy one.Even if they are so much less expensive than a real Excalibur.

It says with the four arrow quiver attachment enables continuous shooting with the Cannonbolt. Sounds like a semi automatic crossbow to me!!

This is a quote from the CANNON BOLT add, I think it says about all we need to know !

"QUALITY AT IT'S BEST
ITEM IS IMPORTED

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIMB CRACK CAUSED BY HAND COCKING AS LIMB MIGHT CRACK IF THE WEIGHT IS NOT EVEN WHEN SETTING UP THE STRING " seriously, I'm not making this up, it's on their advertisement.

No thanks..

I am familiar with meddle-tons and the broken limb/string in the chin-ese knock off but yet to see the cannon bolt. I bet im not missing much, but they are.

Hey Blackjack,

From what I've heard, if he was scrounging in the trash at Excalibur for their seconds his bows would probably improve. Hehehehe.
