I got my new Boo string in the mail a couple of days ago. I had almost forgot the quality that went into them. I had an Excalibur about three years ago but sold it and just stuck with the V bow thing till injuries brought me back. I got another one and used the stock string for the first season because I noticed how slammed Don was on orders. I new the quality of his work because he had given me two of his strings back when he first got started. Back then he was giving strings away like dinner mints and I really doubt what he takes in today even starts to compare with what he gave away so unselfishly back then. Anyway when the season was over I ordered another one so I could maximize the performance of my bow. The string I was shooting was a stock Dacron string. When I put the new string on the difference was incredible. The Bow shot pretty smooth before, its an Exocet 175 with a flat riser. The new string made it feel like a completely different bow. More so than an STS system because I had one on it, given to me by Summner, and took it of because I could feel no noticeable difference. The total amount of distortion that is arrested with these strings makes the bow more accurate and more enjoyable to shot. I had almost forgotten the performance of these strings. I know this has been said before but I'm sayin it again because if you don't have one of Don's strings your bow is not reaching its full potential.

I agree. . .I've shot a lot of great strings made my some very good folks. I have custom strings from three different people in my tackle box. However, when I head into the woods, there is always a Boo string on my bow. Awesome strings made by an awesome guy.

We are so fortunate to have so many excellent craftsmen on this forum. DaGriz and his killer knives,agingcrossbower and those awsome stocks,Big John and Crazyfarmers arrows,and Boo's almost indestructable strings come to mind. Heck, Don has raised the bar on string making so high that he cant see over it!(sorry Don it was just too tempting)

I will have to order one also, since as you say, "these strings makes the bow more accurate " Wonder if excalipur agrees with that statment. Maybe bows should come stock with these strings.
