PICKED SOME UP

Post by LongCarbine »

Walking in my local Gander Mountian store I was suprise to see some Rage 2 crossbow heads . Since W.I. is so anti crossbow I didn't think they would carry them ,So I grabbed them and ran to the check out before a (real bowhunter) saw me. Now I"ll have to wait until it stops raining and I get the gardening done before I test them against my Muzzys.

Thanks guys I knew I could count on you . A bow shooting club was handing out anti x-bow sheets , and these people read off it line per line . When you tell them they don't shoot 1 in. groups at 100 yd's [My rifle might on a VERY good day] Or most newer V-bows shoot faster ,or they have triggers and fancy sights ,or more hunters buying tags is a GOOD thing ,They call you a name and tell you that they better not see out in the woods or else. You just have to laugh and spend your hunting money in another state.

It is amazing how ignorant some of these people are . The compound is the newest weapon with its birth in 1969 . The crossbow on the other hand dates back to the 4th century BC .

HEY There LongCarbine:
Just a guess, but it sounds like that paper hanging bow club you wrote about, must have a bunch members who are: Anti-Hunters, Anti- Freedom types, That or there a bunch of Hypocrites. Guess we should feel sorry for them.
I just can't seem to understand the part that xbow hunters are "Not real bow hunters" :?: :? :?: I look up the word "bow" in he dictionary, the word bow refers to limbs that flex with a cord connecting the two ends, used to shoot arrows. Did not see nothing about wheels :? I guess using a Excalibur type crossbow put us in the "Traditional archery group" 8) So the not a real bow hunter comment was NOT refering to you. :D
As for the, better not see you in the woods or else, comment  We know the high ground is to smile & walk away.......But If you would like to drop down to there level for a moment  hit them with a... Just don't miss, because the excal won't.
I'am just across the big lake from ya. Hang in there!!!!!! :D

i hunt with a recurve , compound and crossbow, they are all real to me , trust me , a deer doesnt particularily care what he gets whacked with, dont let anyone let you feel you are inferio cuz you hunt with a crossbow, if that was the criteria i guess gun hunters would be the lowest form of hunter

I don't know yet, it's been raining since monday. I have to work late on friday and saturday I will be going to a pig roast half way across the state. If I get the yard work done after church I MIGHT shoot them late on Sunday. I'll let you know then ,maybe!
